There is a maritime museum located in the Old Mackinaw Point Lighthouse in the Maritime Park.

Contains a museum of Great Lakes shipping. Holds no. 2 and 3 includes information on the freighter Edmund Fitzgerald, which sank in a storm in 1975 on Lake Superior.
