Extreme clipper ship built in 1851 by Alexander Hall & Sons, Aberdeen, as hull
number 177, at a price of £9179 17s 9d.
Her dimensions were: 149'3"×26'1"×17'0" and tonnage:
570 tons [OM] and 440 tons [NM].

- Launched at the shipyard of Alexander Hall & Sons,
Aberdeen, for Taylor, Potter & Co., Liverpool. Forty shares were held by Jervis
B. Wardley. Classed at 14A1 by Lloyds Register. The first master was Captain A.
Enright.

- Sailed from Whampoa to
Liverpool in 104 days with a cargo of tea.
- 1852 July 9 — October 22
- Sailed from Whampoa to
Liverpool in 105 days with a cargo of tea.
- 1853 April 16 — July 12
- Sailed from Liverpool to Hong Kong
in 87 days.
- 1853 July 30 — November 15
- Sailed from Whampoa to
Liverpool in 108 days with a cargo of tea.
- 1854 July 18 — October 30
- Sailed from Whampoa to
London in 104 days with a cargo of tea.
- 1855 June 13 — November 1
- Sailed from Foochow to
London in 104 days with a cargo of tea. The master this season was Captain A.
McLelland.

- The remaining shares in the ship were bought by Jervis R.
Wardley, Liverpool.
- 1866
- Sold to McPherson, Liverpool.
- 1870
- Sold to J. Brodie, London, and was reduced to a barque.
- 1873 March 28
- Wrecked in a hurricane off Mauritius on voyage
from Madagascar with a cargo of bullocks.
Eleven of the crew were drowned.
