Maitland
A tea clipper built in 1865 by William Pile, Sunderland.
Dimensions: 183'0"×35'0"×19'5" and tonnage: 798,72 NRT and 754,58 tons under deck.
Longitudinal section, deck plan and sail plan are preserved in the Science
Museum, London. The builder's half model is in the possession of Joseph L.
Thompson & Sons, Sunderland.
