Norman Court

An composite extreme clipper ship designed by William Rennie and built in 1869 by A. & J. Inglis, Glasgow, for at total cost of £ 16,005. Her dimensions were 197'4"×33'0"×20'0" and tonnage 855,02 GRT, 833,87 NRT, and 795,84 tons under deck.

Stranded at half past eight in Cymmeran Bay, Anglesey, during a violent gale from SW. After more than 24 hours in the rigging 20 members of the crew were saved by the Rhosneigr lifeboat. Two had died through exposure during the night.
