- Launched at the shipyard of Daniel and Aaron
Westervelt, New York, for Chambers & Heiser, New York. Stuck on the launching
ways and got severly strained which caused $ 20.000 in repairs.

command of Captain George E. Lane to San Francisco in 125 days.

- Sailed from Macao to New York in 110 days.
- 1854 October 26 — February 21
- Sailed from New York to San
Francisco in 119 days.

- Sailed from New York to San
Francisco in 95 days.
- 1856 December 6 — March 17
- Sailed from Shanghai to New
York in 100 days.

days. This one of the fastest passages on record between the two ports.
