A fullrigged iron ship built in 1869 by William Pile, Sunderland.
Dimensions 186'4"×31'2"×19'6" and tonnage 746 tons.
Later reduced to barque rig.

- While compleating the cargo on the roadstead of Napier, the cargo of wool took fire. The fire was extinguished with the help of steam pumps from the shore after about 400 tons of water had been poured into the hold. Some
160 bales of wool had been destroyed and 1200 damaged at a value of about
£ 5000.
