Montrose
Iron full-rigged ship built in 1863 by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow.
Dimensions 194'8×34'5×21'3 and tonnage 984 NRT and 1022 DWT.
Later re-rigged as a barque.

- Launched at the shipyard of Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow, for Cowie & Co., Liverpool.
- c1885
- Re-rigged as a barque.
- 1888 July 23
- Sold to Hans Peter Breckwoldt Jr, Blankenese (Hamburg), and was renamed Montrosa. Assigned the German signal RHKL. The new German measurements were 60,95×10,52×6,55 meters and 1022 GRT.
- 1898 October
- Sold to Manuel Eriksson and other partowners from Lemland, Åland, for £ 2500. The new Finnish measurements were 59,9×10,66×6,47 meters.
- 1916
- The crew unsuccessfully tried to sink the ship but it was salvaged into Hull.
- 1928 November
- Received severe rig damage during a storm in the North Sea and
had to seek refuge at Cuxhaven. From there she was towed to London.
- 1929
- Condemned and sold for £ 1500 to be broken up at Brügge, Belgium.
