Queen of Scots
An iron full-rigged ship built in 1877 by Richardson, Duck & Co., Stockton.
Dimensions 229'4"×38'0"×22'8" and tonnage 1444 GRT and 1374 NRT.
Later reduced to barque rig.
- 1877
- Launched at the shipyard of Richardson, Duck & Co., Stockton, for Donald Kennedy & Co., Liverpool. Used in the coolie trade from Calcutta.
- 1904
- Sold to M. Olsen, Porsgrund, Norway.
- 1916
- Owned by Larsen & Mikkelsen, Sandefjord.
- 1919
- Sold to Carl Wildhagen, Sandefjord.
- 1920
- Sold to W.K. Jansén, Åbo. Captain Julius Westerberg.
- 1925
- Was dismasted on voyage from Mazorca Islands, Peru, with a cargo of guano for London. Had to seek refuge in Valparaiso where she was condemned.
- 1925 August
- Converted into a barge.
