Sorabjee Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy
An iron barque built in 1864 by Laird Brothers, Birkenhead.
Dimensions 63,20×10,74×6,77 meters [207'2"×35'2"×22'2"] and 1199 GRT, 1199 NRT and 1136 tons under deck.

- Launched at the shipyard of Laird Bros, Birkenhead, for J. Parsons, Liverpool.
Assigned the official British Reg. No. 51433 and signal JTSQ.
- 1867
- Sold to the British Shipowners Co. and was renamed British India.
- 1881
- Sold to R.W. Leyland & Co., Liverpool.
- 1893
- Laid up at Leith for a period of time.
- 1893 December 11
- Left Leith with a cargo of coal for Rio de Janeiro under command of Captain Roberts who had replaced Captain Whiteside.
- 1894 January 19
- Abandoned with the coal cargo on fire some 30 miles NW of Madeira. Spontaneous combustion of "channel coal" had never previously been recorded.
