An steel barque built in 1892 by Russell & Co., Greenock. Dimensions 244'7"x37'5"x22'5" and 1570 GRT, 1458 NRT.

1892: Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., Greenock, for A/S Stjørn (A. & F. Smith), Tvedestrand, Norway.
1901 June 8: Sold to Rederi AB Tropic (Jacob Gustaf Setterwall), Stockholm, and was renamed Tropic. Assigned the official Swedish Reg. No. 3910 and signal JMHK. The new measurements were 71,35×11,47×6,87 meters and 1570 GRT, 1458 NRT and 2350 DWT. Captain Gustaf Robert Pettersson Bruce.
1906 May: Captain Sven Emanuel Johansson, Skeppsmyra.
1907 September: Captain Johan Eriksson, Börstil.
1907 September 27 - January 1: Sailed from Gefle to Hobart with timber.
1908 June 19 - August 18: Sailed from Newcastle, NSW, to Antofagasta with a cargo of coal.
1911 June: Sold to August Trober, Mariehamn, and was renamed August. Captain K.V. Lindqvist.
1917 April 20: Sunk by a German submarine som 300 miles off Fastnet on voyage from Texas with a cargo of pitchpine for Sharpness.
