Five-masted schooners with aux. machinery
Most of these five-masted schooners got a very short life and the majority of
the schooners ordered by the French Government were laid up after the war.

The Vinnen Schooners
The five "Vinnen" were built by Krupp for Vinnen, Bremen, in 1921-1922. They were rigged with square top- and topgallant sails on the fore and mizzen masts.
