Launched at the shipyard of Alexander Stephen & Sons, Glasgow, for Killick, Martin, Ritchie and partners, London. Assigned the official British Reg. No. ____ and signal ____. Employed in the China tea trade. Captain George Frederick Thomson was given command of the vessel.
