A four-masted steel barque built in 1902 by Chantiers de France, Dunkerque. Dimensions 95,55×13,73×7,33 meters [313'6"×45'1"×24'1"] and tonnage 3204 GRT and 2462 NRT. Rigged with double top- and topgallant sails.

1902 March 23: Launched at the shipyard of Chantiers de France, Dunkerque, for Ant. Dom. Bordes et fils, Dunkerque.
1902 September: Arrived at Iquique from Port Talbot after 105 days.
1903 ?? ?? — May 24: Sailed from Dunkerque to Iquique in 89 days.
1903 ?? ?? &mdash January 27: Sailed from Port Talbot to Iquique in 102 days.
1904: Sailed from Caleta Buena to Dunkerque in 88 days.
1904 September 30: Stranded on the Oyster Bank at the entrance to Newcastle, NSW, after a voyage from Antwerp, 85 days out.
