A four-masted iron barque built in 1886 by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow. Dimensions: 87,34×12,92×7,33 meters [286'7"×42'5"×24'1"] and tonnage 2062 GRT and 1998 NRT.
Rigged in "jubilee" or "baldheaded" fashion, i.e. with double topgallant sails over double topsails

1886 June: Launched at the shipyard of Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow, for R. Hill & Co., Greenock, and used in the jute trade. The first master of the ship was Captain D. McLaren.
1886: Sailed from Greenock to Calcutta on her maiden voyage.
1908 September 1: Wrecked at Port Talbot after having drifted ashore from her anchorage at Mumble Roads, Swansea Bay.
