County of Aberdeen

A four-masted iron ship built in 1879 by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow. Dimensions 85,64×12,29×7,33 meters [281'0"×40'4"×24'1"] and tonnage 1943 GRT and 1865 NRT. Rigged with royal sails above double top- and single topgallant sails. Sister ship to the same owner's fourmasted ships County of Selkirk of 1878 and County of Haddington also of 1878.

1879 March
Launched at the shipyard of Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow, for R.J. Craig, Glasgow. The first master was Captain Drummond. Originally used in the jute trade.
1884 December 21
Left Cardiff for Bombay. Declared wrecked after having disappeared.
