Drumcliff
A four-masted iron ship built in 1887 By J. Russell & Co., Greenock, for Gillison & Chadwick, Liverpool.
Her dimensions were: 94,86×13,15×7,36 meters [another source gives: 90,96×13,16×7.47 meters] [311'3×43'2×24'2] and tonnage 2525 GRT, 2468 NRT and 2381 tons under deck. Her forecastle was 38 feet long and the poop 36 feet.
2471 GRT and 2360 NRT.
She was later re-rigged as a four-masted barque.

- Launched at J. Russell & Co.'s shipyard in Greenock for Gillison & Chadwick, Liverpool.
Assigned the Official British Reg. No. 93713 and signal KJVQ.
Captain H. Davies was given command of the ship.

- Sailed to Sydney with a general cargo. From Newcastle, NSW to Chile with coal and from there to Rotterdam with a cargo of nitrate.

- In command of Captain P. Hammer.

- Interned in Peru at the outbreak of the war.
- 1918
- Used as a sail-training ship.
- 1920
- Delivered as war damage compensation.
- 1926
- Transferred to Compania Adminstradora del Guano, Callao.
- 1958 June 26
- Sprang a leak on a voyage between Pachacamac Islands and Huacho with 3000 tons of guano onboard and sank. At the time of her loss she was the last cargo carrying square rigged sailing ship.
