Fannie Kerr

A four-masted steel barque built in 1892 by T. Royden & Sons, Liverpool. Dimensions: 89,52×12,54×7,43 meters [293'9"×41'2"×24'5"] and tonnage: 2426 GRT and 2286 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails. Sister ship to the same owner's James Kerr (1892).

1892 October: Launched at the shipyard of T. Royden & Sons, Liverpool, for E.R. Peel & McAllester & Sons, Liverpool. Captain C. Gibbons.
1902 April 29: The cargo of coal caught fire on voyage from Newcastle, NSW, to San Francisco and the ship had to be abandoned at 26°N, 169°W.
