Hebe

A four-masted steel barque built in 1891 by Bluhm & Voss, Hamburg. Dimensions: 93,79×13,73×7,69 meters [307'9"×45'1"×25'3"] and tonnage: 2722 GRT and 2616 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of Bluhm & Voss, Hamburg, for B. Wencke Söhne, Hamburg. Captain D. Rowehl.
1898 April 23
Disappeared on voyage from Barry to Iquique with a cargo of coal. Last spoken to at 15°6'S, 37°W by the Lloyd steamer Wittekind.
Credited with having sailed from the Channel to Adelaide in 69 days, during which time she averaged 8,14 knots for 13.485 miles.
