Holyhead

A four-masted iron barque built in 1889 by R. & J. Evans, Liverpool. Dimensions: 89,61×12,80×7,43 meters [294'0"×42'0"×24'5"] and tonnage: 2336 GRT and 2273 NRT.

Jubilee-rigged, i.e. rigged with nothing above double top and topgallant sails.

1889 November
Launched at the shipyard of R. & J. Evans, Liverpool, for W. Thomas & Co., Liverpool. Captain T. Williams.
1890 February 12
Stranded on the Lonsdale Reef, Hobson's Bay, during the maiden voyage from Liverpool to Melbourne.
