Honresfeld

A four-masted steel barque built in 1891 by W. Doxford & Sons, Sunderland. Dimensions: 95,31×14,04×7,82 meters [312'9"×46'1"×25'8"] and tonnage: 3045 GRT and 2873 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.

1891 May: Launched at the shipyard of W. Doxford & Sons, Sunderland, for J. Joyce, Liverpool. Captain C. Guthrie was put in command of the ship.
1892 December 20: On voyage from Liverpool to San Francisco the ship had to be abandoned in the Pacific at 8°20'N, 116°20'W after the cargo had caught fire.
1895 December 28: A whaleship reported the drifting wreck at 9°N, 175°W.
