Thracian

A four-masted steel barque built in 1892 by R. Duncan & Co., Port Glasgow. Dimensions 85,95×12,82×7,43 meters [282'0"×42'1"×24'5"] and tonnage 2154 GRT and 2008 NRT.

1892 August: Launched at the shipyard of R. Duncan & Co., Port Glasgow, for W. Thomson & Co., Liverpool.
1892 August 15: Capsized and sank off Port Erin, Calf of Man, while under tow in ballast from Port Glasgow to Liverpool. The master of the ship was Captain H.H. Brown.

This steel barque had the shortest life span of all four-masted ships and barques.
