Valparaiso

A four-masted steel barque built in 1902 by Chantiers de France, Dunkerque. Dimensions: 95,55×13,73×7,38 meters [313'6"×45'1"×24'3"] and tonnage: 3206 GRT and 2419 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.

Sistership to the same owner's fourmasted barque Antonin (1902).

Launched at the shipyard of Chantiers de France, Dunkerque, for Ant. Dom. Bordes et fils, Dunkerque. Used in the nitrate trade between Chile and Europe. Captain P. Harang.

Sailed from Iquique to Prawle Point in 80 days.
1925 February
Laid up at Nantes.
1927 September
Towed to Dunkerque to be broken up.
