Alcides
A four-masted steel barque built in 1892 by Grangemouth Dockyard Co, Alloa.
Dimensions 95,11×13,15×7,41 meters [312'1"×43'2"×24'4"] and
tonnage 2704 GRT and 2492 NRT.
Rigged with with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.

- Launched at the shipyard of Grangemouth Dockyard
Co., Alloa, for Ship Alcides Co. Ltd. (J.R. Haws & Co.), Liverpool. Assigned the official British Reg. No. 99445. Captain L.C. Dart late of the same owner's four-masted barque Semantha was given command of the new vessel.

Anglo-American Oil Co. (J. McDonald), London. To be used in the case-oil trade.
- 1904 October
- Dis-masted in the Sunda Straits during a typhoon. The four-masted barque Robert Rickmers which had been spoken to on October 8 was most probably lost in the same typhoon.

- In command of Captain John C.B. Jarvis, Dundee.
- 1912 December
- Sold to A/S Alcides (O.N. Henriksen), Risør, Norway, for £ 6000. Captain J.M.
Skaugen.

- Sold to A/S Alcides (A/S Henriksen & Skaugen), Risør.
- 1916 September
- Sold to Skibs A/S Noreg (Lauritz Sundt & J.M. Holst), Kristiania, Norway, for £ 66.750. Captain H. Halvorsen.
- 1917 July
- Torpedoed by the German submarine U-54 off Tory Island, Ireland, with the loss of the entire crew.
