A four-masted iron ship built in 1884 by W.H. Potter & Son, Liverpool. Dimensions: 91,44×12,85×7,48 meters [300'0"×42'2"×24'7"] and tonnage: 2523 GRT and 2441 NRT.
Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails. Later rebuilt as a four-masted barque.
Sistership to the same owner's four-masted iron barque Marlborough Hill (1885).
