Marlborough Hill
A four-masted iron barque built in 1885 by W.H. Potter & Son, Liverpool.
Dimensions: 91,55×12,85×7,48 meters [300'5"×42'2"×24'7"] and tonnage: 2531 GRT and 2443 NRT.
Rigged with sky sails over royal sails, double top and topgallant sails. The lower and to masts were in one piece.
Sistership to the same owner's ship Holt Hill (1884).

- Sold to Robert Mattson, Mariehamn, for £ 4875 or FIM 101.560 [FIM 125.000 is also mentioned]. The Finnish measurements were 89,25×12,75×7,67 meters and 2418 NRT. Captain Karl Evert Erikson of Jormala Ytterby.

- Sailed from Antofagasta to Le Havre with a cargo of nitrate.

- Captain Hjalmar Jansson (Jansén), Lumparland.

- Sailed from Miramichi, NB, to Belfast with a cargo of sawed pitchpine.

- Sailed from New York to Melbourne with 95.000 cases of oil. To be able to load in the harbour of New York the top-gallant masts had to be rigged down to get under the bridges.

- Sailed from Port Lincoln to Queenstown in 91 days. The cargo of wheat was ordered to be discharged at Cardiff.

- Sailed from Melbourne for Caleta Buena in 55 days.

- Sailed from Caleta Buena with a cargo of nitrate for Granville where she arrived on December 19 via the Panama Canal.

- Sold to Soc. Anon. Ferreira, Montanella, for £ 4400 to be broken up [Kåhre has £4875].

- Delivered to the new owners at Granville.
- 1925
- Broken up in Italy.
